These terms

arborops.co is operated by Arbor Operating Partners. Using the site means accepting what follows. If you do not accept it, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms. The date above is when we last did, and the version on this page is the one that applies.

What this site is

This site describes what we do, shows work we have done, and gives you two ways to reach us: a form, and a calendar.

Nothing on it is accounting, tax, financial or investment advice, and nothing on it should be acted on as though it were. Advice is something we give a client, in writing, having first understood their business.

Booking a call

Booking holds a time in our calendar. It is not an engagement, it does not make you a client, and it costs nothing.

Work begins only under a separate written agreement, signed by both of us, which sets out the scope and the fee. Until then we owe each other a conversation and nothing more. We may occasionally need to move a call, and we will tell you if we do.

The figures on this site

The case studies describe real engagements, published with those clients’ permission, and the numbers in them are what happened in that engagement.

They are a record, not a forecast. Another company, with other people and other books, may see a different result, and nothing here is a promise of any particular outcome.

Using the site

Please use the site as it was meant to be used: read it, and get in touch.

Please do not try to break it, reach parts of it that are not yours, scrape it to republish or resell what is on it, or use the booking and contact forms to send bulk or automated messages. Requests are rate-limited, and we will block anything that looks like an attack on the calendar.

What belongs to whom

The text, design, charts and illustrations on this site belong to Arbor Operating Partners or to whoever licensed them to us. You are welcome to read them, link to them and quote them with attribution; you may not copy them wholesale or present them as your own.

The client, investor and product marks shown on the site belong to those companies and appear with their permission. Nothing on this site transfers any right in them.

Links to other sites

We link to other places — LinkedIn profiles, the tools we work with, our clients’ own sites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they say or do.

Availability, and the limits of what we promise

We keep this site accurate and available as best we reasonably can, but it is provided as it is: we do not warrant that it will always be reachable, error-free, or right for any particular purpose of yours.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from acting on something you read here rather than on advice given to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Where these terms apply

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts sitting in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them continue to apply.
