What we collect, and why.
Last updated 23 September 2026.
The short version
This site collects what you type into it when you book a call or send us a message, and almost nothing else.
There is no analytics package, no advertising network, no tracking pixel and no profile built about you. We do not sell anything about you to anyone, because there is nothing to sell and we would not do it anyway.
Who we are
arborops.co is operated by Arbor Operating Partners, which decides what is collected here and why.
Anything in this policy — a question, a correction, a request to delete what we hold — goes through the contact form at arborops.co/contact.
What we collect
When you book a call: your name and email address, your company and phone number if you give them, which of three descriptions fits you best, and which page you booked from. We need these to hold the time, send the invitation and turn up knowing who we are speaking to.
When you send a message: your name, email address, what you wrote, and the page you wrote it from.
If you choose “Continue with LinkedIn”: your name, your verified email address and your profile photograph, and nothing else. We do not see your connections, your employer, your posts or your activity. What LinkedIn tells us is held in your browser for fifteen minutes so the booking form can fill itself in, and it is kept only if you go on to book — in which case your name, address and photograph sit with the record of your call, so we know who we are speaking to. Signing in this way is always optional — the form books exactly the same call if you type it yourself.
Your IP address, briefly: it is used to count requests, so that nobody can paper the calendar with automated bookings. Those counts are swept at least daily.
Why we are allowed to hold it
For anyone in the UK or the EU, the lawful bases are these: we hold what you give us when booking or writing because you asked us to take a step before entering into a contract, and we count requests by IP address because we have a legitimate interest in the calendar not being abused.
If we ever want to use your details for something you did not ask for — a newsletter, for instance — we will ask you first.
Who else can see it
Supabase holds the database and the files behind this site, on servers in the United States. Vercel serves the site to your browser. Both act on our instructions and neither uses what is there for anything of their own.
LinkedIn sees that you signed in, but only if you chose to. An email provider delivers the confirmations and replies we send you.
The site loads its typefaces from Google’s font service, which means your browser asks Google for them and Google sees the address it is asked from. Nothing about you is sent with that request beyond what any web request carries.
We will also hand something over if the law requires it, and we would tell you unless we were forbidden to.
How long we keep it
Your contact details and the record of a call or a message are kept while there is a reason to — a conversation in progress, an engagement, or a record we are obliged to keep. When there is no longer a reason, they go.
The counts held against IP addresses are swept at least daily. The LinkedIn detail in your browser lasts fifteen minutes.
Ask us to delete what we hold about you and we will, except for anything we are required to keep.
What you can ask for
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Where the law gives you the right to take your data elsewhere, you can ask for that too. We do not charge for any of it, and we answer within one working day.
If you are in the UK or the EU and you think we have handled this badly, you may complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those words are defined there, and you will never be treated differently for exercising a right.
Everything above goes through the contact form at arborops.co/contact.
Children
This site is for people running and funding companies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters to someone who has already booked a call with us, we will tell them.
